One Room Challenge Fall 2018 ~ Week 4

Welcome to Week 4 of One Room Challenge! It is hard to imagine in a week time the home office will need to be for photo shoot and there are still so much to do. Before I tell you about what happened in week 4, here is a pure bliss of relaxation at Kotn I definitely need right now.

So what happened this week ... despite our best effort to get the beautiful wallpaper manufactured (yes it was out of stock ... BRAVO to Crown Wallpaper and Sympathy Wallcovering to make the impossible timeline possible), my installer cancelled last minute due to family emergency.

What does that mean you ask?  Well that means wallpaper installation is pushed back for about a week, wall sconces and artwork cannot be put up until the wallpaper is fully set, attempt to firm up accessories and styling details is now pushed back.  I am not a happy camper at this moment.

On the bright side, I picked up the most stunning wall art / sculpture by the talented Angela Chrusciaki Blehm last week and it literally felt like Christmas Day.  Dynamic, whimsical, and chic, I  couldn't be happier with the end result and I can't wait to see it up on the wall!

A little behind the scene creative process:

Thanks Angela for this amazing showstopper! Now for those who would like to get his/her own one of a kind master piece, check out Angela's store on Chairish! A new collaboration and curated vintage collection is also available here.

While the wallpaper process is stalled, I turned my attention to lighting, office essentials, and accessories.  If you have been following me for a while, you know I am a fan of HomeSense Canada.  It offers a wide varieties of products ranging from household cleaning supplies, kitchen must-haves, delicious treats (for ourselves and our four legged pals), to designer home furnishings and incredible decorative accessories, all at amazing prices.

Here are some of the items I put together to firm up my design concept:

Fingers crossed it's smooth sailing from here on and most of everything is wrapped up by the time I see you all here next week.  For now, I am heading over to the 20 Feature Designers and the guest participants to see what everyone is up to this week!
