New Hot Spot ~ West Elm North Toronto

Hello Monday and welcome to March Break!  It is hard to believe it's the middle of March already and you know what that means, Spring is just around the corner! The longer days and the sunshine on the weekend makes me want to redecorate again (a dangerous thought) and the brand new West Elm at Yonge and Eglinton is definitely one of my favourite new spots in town.

Located in the heart of mid-town, the store is filled with classic, timeless architectural details and finishes, making it one incredibly elegant and serene backdrop to showcase the modern, stylish West Elm collections.

Check out that skylight and the floor details ... I am in heaven!

Looking for fresh new ideas to celebrate Easter this year? How about trading in the classic bunny and daffodil for a streamline, contemporary look with a delicious palette of warm white, calming tan, and delicate blush + super chic graphic dinnerwear

I am always on a lookout for stunning pieces for projects.  This Vero Settee is sophisticated, feminine, and has an art deco flair.  Fingers crossed I will get to use it in a project soon.  Another collection I absolutely LOVE is the Thea Collection.  I may have to work a pair of these chairs in my own room!

From soft and delicate to bold and masculine, here is a perfect vignette for the bachelors.  The rich navy wall, sculptural wall accessories, statement floor lamp, and pairing graphic textiles with a classic mid-century tailored sofa: the men in your life will love it all.

To warm up this palette, how about mixing in some warm wood tone, luxurious leather and brushed brass?  I love that brass handle on the drum coffee table with hidden storage.  Such a clever and stylish piece of furniture.

Now lets check out my favourite room at West Elm North: a contemporary living quarter graced by beautiful architectural eye candies including the door casing and trim work, the black and white hexagon tiled floor in a diamond pattern, and the two columns that flank the sofa and the floor to ceiling display shelves for one impeccable showstopper.

A couple other views of this space ... it totally had me at hello.  What do you think?

With spring landing in Toronto really soon, I am also in the market for some new planters and these geometric numbers and oh the Llama is quite fun too.  Which one is your favourite?

What are you up to this March Break? I highly recommend you to visit West Elm North Toronto!
