Fall in Love with Autumn w/ Style at Home

Hello Friday! Are you all ready for the Thanksgiving long weekend? I am heading up to Collingwood as we speak, and I can't wait to enjoy the beautiful tree lined trails and the vivid fall colors.  Mother Nature is truly inspirational and everything looks just right: no exaggeration … just pure organic beauty.

Taking cue from the rich, sumptuous fall colors and textures, Style at Home, along with their favourite designers / bloggers, share with us some of their top tips on how to decorate and entertain this Fall.

Thanksgiving is all about leaving our busy lives behind and have a fantastic time with families and friends.  This dining room is absolutely one of my favourites with its simple, organic, elegant tablescape thanks to the pure white palette and subdued colorways from fall fruits and pumpkins.  The antler chandelier and the stone fireplace with wood mantel give the space an authentic country cabin look.

Who wouldn't want to have a dinner party here?

Now for those of you living in the city and would like to bring a touch of nature and warmth to your home, how about this sleek fireplace table and an accent wall of reclaimed barnboards?  Love these ideas and would love to have an outdoor fireplace right at my balcony! Barn board accent wall … you may just happen at Chris' new place!

For this long weekend at Collingwood, I am definitely craving for delicious, heart warming, family style cuisine.  This ginger pudding recipe has me dreaming of baking on Saturday morning.  Topped with Vanilla ice-cream, this mouth-watering treat will surely be a hit at our bed and breakfast!

Nothing beats a cup of hot cinnamon and cider right after a visit to the outdoor hot tub in the evening.  With zero light pollution, the sky is dark, the stars are bright, the air is crisp, and I want this cinnamoncider in a chic mason jar mug!

Here comes my ultimate dream picnic after a couple hours of hiking along the Bruce Trail.  Wicker charger, linen napkins, and organic decoration all from nature: cheers to that friends!
