Tonic Living Special + Giveaway

Happy Wednesday and it is the last day of July!  I would like to thank each and every one of you for all your loves over the past three years to make it such a rewarding and adventurous journey at DesignMaze.  Through the blog, I have met many incredibly talented ladies & gents in the community, attended media events of my favourite stores/ design shows and more importantly, I am most grateful to have connected with you!  Cheers to that friends!

One of my favourite posts on the blog is the "Transformation Projects", where I share with you my design projects and my love of mixing colors, textures, and patterns.  Today, I am taking you to the fabulous head quarter of Tonic Living!

My first date with Tonic Living was over the internet a few years back.  My first impression was: Wow there are lots of eye candies here!  I picked a few samples and within a couple of days, the samples were in my mailbox.  Fast forward a few years, Janine and her team of experts came through on my last minute rush order time after time with superb products and service excellence.

If you haven't physically been to Tonic Living, you must! You will not only be floored by the impressive in-stock fabric collection, but also be inspired by the sleek, modern, hip design aesthetic.  I am loving these super cool, overscale chandeliers: the perfect pair for a mod statement the moment you stepped into the store, not to mention the ideal light source for fabric plays.

Janine is truly a design triple-threat.  She has a fantastic sense of style, a sharp eye for design trends, and she knows how to present her ideas! Within seconds, Janine pulled two sensational palettes for my up coming design project (which you will read about on Friday) + offering M fabric tips!

Did you sneak a peek into the deliciously colorful lounge in the background? I am sure you did and here is why Tonic Living and I believe in love at first sight: we both love to mix colors and patterns!  Janine and Shannon did an amazing job to showcase how to be adventurous with fabrics.  Drapes, pillows, upholstery, or lamp shades, these are just a few ideas you can introduce fabrics to your home.  Best of all, Tonic Living is your one stop shop from fabric selection to custom orders.  No project is too small and Janine can certainly help!

Tonic Living is expanding their product offerings to comfy floor covering (I am in love with this black & white striped beauty from Cortenaer), and in collaboration with local talents such as artist Andrea Rinaldo (striking art collection I must say) and upholstery expert Andrea Ford of RE:Style Studio to showcase their creative work.

Thanks ladies for a truly inspiring store tour and if you are in Toronto, you must stop by Tonic Living and be inspired!

Of course the ladies at Tonic Living won't let you go home empty-handed after the tour.  That's right friends, I have one more giveaway for you and this week, you are shopping at Tonic Living!  Janine is offering one DesignMaze reader a $50 gift certificate to shop at her store.  Either you are dreaming pillows, drapery updates, or fabrics for instant art, Tonic Living is here to help!

To enter, simply tell me which fabric you love the most at Tonic Living and how you would use it in your home.  For extra entries, follow Tonic Living on facebook, twitter, pinterest, instagram, and come back to let me know you have done so (please leave me separate comments).  That is a total of 5 entries for you to win!

So what are you waiting for, it is time to shop at Tonic Living
