Today, I would like to wrap up 2012 by giving the talented Tommy Smythe my salute for his witty sense of humor, down to earth personality, and incredible taste in both fashion and home interiors. Ladies and Gents, please put our hands together for Tommy, the Style Master!

Tartan, a.k.a Plaid, is such a classic pattern that has once again risen to supremacy in both high fashion and interior design alike. Tommy, the trend setter who has long been spotted dressing himself as a gentleman with class and his impeccable furnishings with a hint of tartan, shares his secret love affair with the intricate and "princely" pattern since early age in the October 2012 issue of House & Home.

And these are a few of my favourite things in the name of tartan:
Tommy was on Steven & Chris before Christmas chatting with the guys on how to maintain personal style while decorating for the holidays. In case you have missed it, you can read about Tommy's tips here.

Check out this sensational vignette curated by Tommy using classic tartan with an edgy twist. I love those Thomas stools, the DIY artwork with crest patches, and that buffalo check mirror as the stunning focal point.
