Brian and his design team has put together three spectacular collections for Holiday 2012. First up is Frost: a timeless, elegant palette of white, cream, and muted gold pairing with lots of sparkles and glitters.
I particularly love the use of this incredible sandblasted branch as the dramatic focal point of this soft, serene space. Totally unexpected, but what fun!! Delicate glass ornaments, handsome nutcracker dressed in silver and cream, and pastel yellow poinsettias as tree decor are just a few elements I love from this collection.
HEART this vignette! The masculine lines of this amazing fireplace are softened by the round sparkly ornaments on the tree and this curvaceous Louis XV armchair. I love how this poinsettia sits right on top of the chair: it looks just like a pretty little girl with a flower in her hair. The vintage suitcases add charm and up the coziness in the space.
Midnight Moon is up next. This collection is all about the mix of navy and gold for a strikingly rich and sophisticated look. Soft feathers, shining crystals, and decadent gold leaves: "these are a few of my favourite things".
What a collection! The tablescape is impeccably stylish with a mix of patterned dinnerware, elegant golden candle sticks at various heights, and the textured ornaments to juxtapose against the matte and shiny glass balls. The golden wreaths and the bright icy blue berry branch tree fillers are on top of my checklist.
If you are looking for something more nature inspired for this holiday season, you have got to check out the Under the Mistletoe collection. With birch bark and wood decor mingling with delicate ceramic ornaments and festive knits, the look is rustic, cozy, and absolutely charming.
Thanks Brian for such a sensational collection. It was certainly my pleasure to hear the stories behind the creation of the 2012 holiday collections, and checked out Brian's favourite items. Thanks Brian for giving us a fun-filled Christmas tour and Lindsay, it was so nice to see you!!
So what do you think? I would love to hear which look inspires your 2012 holiday decor!
