I love Christine and die over 5 times when I saw her home at Steven and Chris a few weeks ago. Christine has done an amazing job in styling her place and what I love the most is her mix of High and Low. Really, you wouldn't be able to tell those gold leaf consoles where an IKEA hack!
Christine's love of pink is also such an inspirational to my own design aesthetic. Soft pink is not an easy color to use (especially when you try to make it not look like "Princess" room). Christine has decorated her home so tastefully with pink that it is truly a place for everyone to enjoy.
Today, Christine will share with us her ideas of a romantic Valentine's Day.
Hi there Design Mazers...PS, I love the sound of that...sounds like mavens and I loveee the word maven...sounds like haven...which brings me to heaven...wow...that was a whole lot of brain tangent in one sentence- yikes.
Fun words aside, I'm delighted to be visiting today...as you all know, Tim is a peach among men so I'm very happy to be filling in a little for him while he's off gallivanting ( and hopefully spying a large ceramic zebra and/or brass gazelle for me;) in the sunshine state.
Since the romance holiday is just around the corner, I've put together a little pink/lovey-dovey photoboard fabulous.
So hope you enjoy...
I must say...as much as I kind of loathe the commercialism of this made-up holiday, I do love the associated colour palate....for that reason alone, I'll happily take Valentine's Day any day of the week over Halloween...no thank you black and orange...I'm definitely a pink (red) and pastely mint kind of girl...oh and I also very much appreciate the excuse for a present...ha!
Happy love day everyone and a giant mushy kiss to Tim for having me.
Thanks Christine for stopping by today and share with us your ideas of a romantic holiday! I love using pink accent in my space, especially with fresh tulips and peonies in spring. And to me, nothing speaks romance louder than an ornate Venetian mirror. The one Christine uses in her inspirational shot is incredible. Now I want one in my bedroom!
