ThanksGiving @ Ansaku

It's Thanksgiving long weekend in Canada and this is my fourth try to catch Fall colors at Ansaku!  Ultimate relaxation with a hike along the Bruce Trail, reading by the pond, and stargazing in the hot tub with no light pollution is exactly what Ansaku has to offer: causal comfortable country home away from home.   You can read about my last Thanksgiving at this beautiful B&B and my hope for Fall color similar to this gorgeous country home by Sarah Richardson.

Breathtaking scenery isn't it? Additional pictures from Sarah's features on House&Home?  Breathtaking yes but these images were taken by me!  I finally lucked out and got the timing right after coming to Ansaku religiously at Thanksgiving for the past four years!

A hike along the Bruce Trail in the beautiful forest and the absolutely stunning view shortly after sun rise overlooking the Beaver Valley.

Speaking about beautiful sceneries and stunning views, check out this absolutely gorgeous beauty out in the country with the Beaver Valley as backdrop.  Let me present to you all the 3-D blueprints of my future country home.

It is definitely love at first sight and luckily both Chris and I are on the same page about this property.  Now that definitely doesn't happen everyday.  Love the color palette of soft grey from the wood details and orange from the cedar shingle sidings: the perfect balance of warm and cool tones.  Check out the gorgeous stone path and the handsome posts at the front porch!

The interior of this country home features one big open concept space equipped with gourmet kitchen and a spacious island perfect for food preparation and causal entertaining.  Totally obsessed about this house, I've already mapped out where the lounge, living, and dining zones to maximize seating and enjoyment of the breathtaking views.

If the front of the house hasn't convinced you yet, then this incredible side view may just knock you off your feet!

What a gorgeous sunroom with the most beautiful windows I have ever seen! I can totally picture myself lounging in front of this outdoor stone fireplace during those cozy Fall evenings!  Totally taking note and will have Ken from Fieldstone Windows to custom the same windows for me one day.

Another detail shots of these two stunning features.

Feeling like a real estate agent, here are a few beauty shots of this picture perfect country home.

Who doesn't like cedar shingle siding and a pair of oversized lanterns right at the front door.

Dreaming aside, here are the high-lights of our Thanksgiving weekend.

Thanks boys for the fun-filled long weekend with lots of laughters and delicious wines (and Arnold who took the photos for us).

Hope you all have a great time with friends and family.  Happy Thanksgiving!
