HomeSense: Outdoor Special

Inspired by my fabric story of the "Bloggers Give Back" garden project and the incredibly beautiful weather on the weekend, I headed over to HomeSense to check out their latest offerrings for the outdoor season.

Having trouble planning your backyard oasis, here is how HomeSense can help to map out your furniture plan and accessory selection.

Bold, colorful, and practical outdoor furniture arrangment in a snap!

And if you want something more neutral and let the colors come in accessories, check out these white resin arm chairs with solid stainless steel frames in a brushed finish.

If you mostly entertain outdoor in the evening, you may like this stylish set of loveseat and arm chairs in charcoal grey resin.

or these modern numbers:

For the ultimate night club experience, check this out!

I absolutely love this set and obviously I wasn't the only one.  This set was perfectly sold before my arrival!

You may need a table or two to complete your outdoor living space.  I love these ones: they come in three different sizes and a few different colors!

Now lets talk about accessories.  We all need serving pieces and what's better than these fab outdoor pieces outfitted in trendy patterns? Best of all, these are made out of plastic, so they are easy to clean and you don't have to worry about breaking them!

Anyone in the market for an intricate umbrella or a modern watering can?

I'm big on birdcages these days or anything with wired metal!  Imagine filling these birdcages with potted orchids or pillar candles.  And how about this modern interpretation of "log holder" next to your fire pit?

More accent pillows all under $25 a piece.

Stylish takes on "drinks basket":

Mirror in the backyard is an old trick to brighten and open up a dark corner.  Here is what HomeSense has to offer to accomplish the task:

These two rustic mirrors are great in scale and the best thing is: they already have the weathered-look, meaning you won't have to worry about them being exposed by the elements.

I love this huge mirror: look at the delicate details!

and of course I have to share these two beautifully decorated mirrors with you: they totally reminded me of the summer retreats (for the Kings and Queens) in Europe.

So what are you waiting for, go check out HomeSense and be inspired!

  1. Tim,
What a fun post! I stopped by there today and picked up an umbrella. Now I have six chairs, 1 umbrella and no table. The C & B one looked terrible in the store. Too scratched up even for a floor model. Didn't love the west elm one either. The Ikea model is looking better and better.

By the way, you hit a great location. My Home Sense didn't have any of these gems.
