Pottery Barn: Easter Edition

Easter is just around the corner!  Although the weather is less than ideal this Easter long weekend according to the latest forecast, Easter is certainly bright and cheery in Pottery Barn.  I visited the store on the weekend and look at these adorable Easter decor.  If you're short in time and need a one stop shop, Pottery Barn is where you want to go and yes for you last minute shoppers, they are now on sale!

I like Easter bunnies but the stuff animals really made it to my house (with the exception of the one from Paul Smith).  But I love these bunnies: they are whimsical and woody.

And if you don't have a green thumb like me, you may want to pick up these faux tulips, daffodils, and Muscari.  They have totally been evolutionized and now looking almost as good as the real deals!

How about these yellow cheery blossom branches decorated with Easter eggs? Or simple bird nests decorated with moss and speckled quail eggs?

PB also never fails to impress with their glass addison candle holders.  As for my personal favourite of them all, this simple, elegant tray held by three bunnies!  Absolutely adorable and totally brought a smile to my face.

Of course with Easter quickly approaching, Pottery Barn is also fully geared for the Summer season.  If there is one thing in common between Crate & Barrel, West Elm, and Pottery Barn, this is it: Nautical!  The sea-side/ beachy apparel is in all three decor giants.  While West Elm takes on a more sophisticated approach (sealing at Mediterranean), it's causal comfort in the Hamptons that Pottery Barn after.  Here is PB's interpretation of causal living and entertaining:

Of course a party in the Hamptons wouldn't be completed without a gourmet BBQ.  How does PB help you outshine your neighbour? Try the stylish pewter plated three-tier cake stand, a drink dispenser in classic blue and white, table linens, plates and name card holders with a nautical twist.

I love the selection of faux corals in shades of warm whites and this vintage container with a coral attached to its lid!  Totally reminding me of those bottles washing off the shore with a love poem awaiting its audience.

Thanks to years of brain washing by the talented advertising companies that I almost forgot corals also come in red (other than just off white) and turquoise may well be my new best friend after navy blue!

I love these Leah Pillar Holders! Made out of terra cotta and finished with a partial, hand-applied glaze.  Adding instant history to any spaces.  Also heart how the little punch of red and turquoise totally liven up the vignette!

Of course I also headed to the clearance section to see what's on sale.  On this trip, the Farmhouse Canopy Bed is on sale down from $2,079 to $829!!

These cute pieces with a bird motif in an antique bronze finish are also 30% off.

So if you are running tight in getting the perfect Easter gifts, head to the nearest Pottery Barn before these great pieces fly off the shelves!!
